One of our family's favorite Christmas traditions is to build and decorate gingerbread houses.
December 2007
This year, Maren shows off her creativity and color scheme.
For Nathan, creativity is straight lines and repetition.
Two unique styles
While older brother and sister were busy decorating houses,
this little pair enjoyed an indoor wagon ride.

Precious!
How very sweet! What joy these children must bring you, and you are clearly a loving mother who brings much joy to them! Please do share your article with me. I would like to read it.
I am humbled by your journey and inspired by your faith. What a nice sentiment you shared with me that my mother can be a source of strength for me during this time. Thank you.

Be well,

I love the comparison between their personalities! They look like they really enjoyed this . . . maybe I can talk myself into such a big project next year:) And Caroline's hat is terribly cute!
I could just squeeze Rascal's clean face! How long did Caroline leave the hat on?
That picture of Maren and Nathan back in 2005 is too precious! What a couple of cuties!
Love the wagon photo and the two inside.
It was fun that you posted previous gingerbread years. My family does the same thing, usually its my dad that adds so much candy the roof collapses.
