They said goodbye for a short while, but the butterflies have returned more beautiful than ever.

I hadn't looked at your blog for a few days and had to laugh that you had such lovely pictures of the beautiful butterflies followed by pictures of such ugly pigs. You really get the best of creatures and the worst of creatures in Houston. The butterflies are remarkable! I've never seen such pretty colors and variety. Enjoy the butterflies and good luck with the pigs!

I don't think I have ever seen butterflies like that. I will have to come over and plant myself next to your flowers some time because all the different colors and varieties are so beautiful. Good job capturing all of those butterflies on film.

What beautiful butterflies! My favorite is the black and blue butterfly. They must be heaven sent.

Have you visited the Cockrell Butterfly Center in the Science Museum downtown? Your children might really enjoy it - hundreds of butterflies on a sunny day. And you might enjoy the butterfly guides provided to identify the butterflies. We loved it and visited it multiple times.

Great shots! I tried to photgraph butterflies at the butterfly exhibit and found them difficult to capture. What's your secret?
