This morning when I awoke my thoughts turned to Sarah. Today marks five months since her passing. To deal with many emotions, I knew I could benefit from a little outside time. I spent the early afternoon trimming flowers and watering the flowerbeds. The warm, bright sun seemed to fill my heart with peace. While I worked I thought of how our family would celebrate this Mother's Day. I thought of the sweet mothers in my life and my role as a mother to four beautiful children. Shortly after I came inside, a five year old neighbor knocked on the door explaining that someone had left something on my doorstep. She handed me a beautifully wrapped package. I discovered a precious volume of compiled letters and stories written to me from my dear family and friends. I found a quiet room in the house and began to read. I was humbled and touched by the memories shared and the beautiful letters of love and encouragement. What a treasure. I was overcome as I read the notes from those whom I love and respect so dearly. Please know of my gratitude for each of you. Your words have lifted my heart this day. Thank you for your love and devotion to me and my family.
With much love,
Christine
A special thanks to my sweet friends Cherise and Sheralie for producing and designing this priceless book.

What a treasure! Happy Mother's Day.
Wow, that is so neat. I think about your family all the time. I just don't know how I would go on after losing a little one. I'm glad you have a keepsake like that.
