Caroline's farm favorite--the deer. You will notice her lack of fear as she approaches this four legged animal which is three times her size. We would like to thank her deer hunting grandpa who introduced her to deer and elk while visiting their home last December.
"The Deer Whisperer" managed to corral three in just a few minutes.
Two big kids enjoyed rope swinging
Maren created an erupting sand volcano...
...While Caroline stood mesmerized over the peacock's colorful feathers
We boarded a small train that took us for a ride around the park. We ate sandwiches along the way.
This little one sat back and relaxed, sucked her thumb and savored her pretzel sticks.
The train ride left Nathan wanting more; it was less than thrilling for a nine-year-old.
The soft bunnies brought smiles
Maren asked, "Can we get one?"
My reply: "Rascal looks like a bunny."
Unique Texas-style swings
Plenty of places to hang and climb
Overall, a fun-filled day at Old MacDonald's Farm!

What beautiful weather to enjoy a fun day at the farm! This is what spring break is all about--enjoying the outdoors with family. Thank you for sharing this photo-excursion with those of us who will probably have rain or snow in the forcast for our spring break.
Fun!! I hope we have nice weather over our spring break in a few weeks. I love how brave Caroline is. So cute!!
I can't believe how brave Caroline is! Megan wouldn't go near the deer (she wouldn't even go in half the animal pens!). I was glad to see the rope swings over the hay. I went to a similar place growing up and I LOVED those rope swings--they were the best. Fun day!
Looks like Chloe and Caroline share the same fearlessness when it comes to animals - no matter the size!
Oh my... you crack me up! "Rascal looks like a bunny"! That made me laugh out loud!
Brings back memories of going there as a kid sinc I grew up in Kingwood. I love reading your blog and really miss y'all. We should get together sometime :)
What a fun place. I am glad you could go. I remember Sarah wearing that same outfit. From the back I couldn't tell if the photos were of Sarah or Caroline! What a lovely Spring Break.
Looks like a real farm. Did they get to milk a cow? How fun for you and children.
We have driven by that place so many times but never gone. It looks like a great place to visit.
That looks like such a fun place! Caroline is rather fearless isn't she. Cute pictures! It looks like perfect weather there. The girls saw that it was going to be 59 degrees tomorrow and asked if they could wear their shorts to school.
I've missed so much! Caroline is walking!!!! I am coming back to my blog. I took a break. Facebook took over. Your family looks so great!
Love you so much! T
