I came across this picture while cleaning out a closet this morning.  Oh, how sweet the smile is on Sarah's face.  Although her body is swollen and weak,  she is so happy holding baby Caroline.  These sisters lived together on earth for three short months.  Caroline brought joy and comfort to Sarah at such a challenging time.  I know their relationship continues today.  I cannot fully comprehend this, but I believe that Sarah's love and influence will always be apart of her sister's life.

What a sweet picture and memory. Seeing Sarah's smile is so comforting, even to me.

I love this post! First, because I think of you whenever I clean out a closet or drawer :) And secondly, because nothing could be more Sarah. What a large heart for such a small girl! Having a two year old girl of my own reminds me of Sarah's constant love for babies. You can see how delighted she is to have her very own!

I love how you share those sweet memories about a precious girl. You find so many memories tucked away in a closet, pocket or forgotten corner that keeps you remembering. Thank you.

I love Sarah's example of enjoying life's happy moments even when she didn't feel well. I agree with you, I think they will always have a special bond. Oh, sweet Sarah how I love and miss her!

What an unexpected, bitter-sweet surprise to find this photograph. It pulls at heart strings when we remember the tenderness of our dear little girl while dealing with the discomfort of a swollen, unco-operative body. She was and is a precious ministering angel.

Sarah's love will be part of Caroline's life forever! Their bonds are eternal. Soon Caroline will talk of Sarah and testify of these eternal truths.
