It has been a fun day of celebrating nine year-old Maren!
We planned a surprise party for the birthday girl. She was so delighted to have some of her friends over for lunch, crafts and birthday cake.
Maren loves to decoupage. Using scrapbook paper, modge podge and the first letter of each of their names, the girls designed a cute bedroom decoration to take home.

Happy Birthday Maren!!! She is growing up to be such an amazing young woman. You are lucky to have such a great little helper. Oh and I can't believe Caroline is potty trained!! Busy busy life for you, but great results.
Happy Birthday dear Maren! We Grimmers sure miss you, your sparkling smile and infectious personality! We miss not living close to you, especially Grace. She told me just the other day that she counts you as one of her very dearest friends. We love you!
