Spring Break in San Antonio

Our family soaked in some San Antonio sun during the week of Spring Break.  Grandma and Grandpa Butler surprised the children by meeting us at one of our favorite vacation destinations.  What a thrill it was to see Grandma and Grandpa waiting for us at the entrance of the hotel!

We had a wonderful time relaxing, swimming, visiting museums and spending a day at Sea World.  The children's favorite activity was swimming in the warm lazy river and playing in the sand.  My mother and I enjoyed resting poolside while sipping on cool drinks.

In the seventh month of pregnancy my silhouette is growing.

Caroline thought it was fun to squirt and splash water on Grandpa.

Forget about Shamu and the dolphins, what pretty pink flowers!

Caroline couldn't make it through a full day at Sea World without a nap on Grandpa's shoulder.

Parting is such sweet sorrow (notice the sadness on Maren's face).  There were three sobbing children in the car as we dropped off Grandma and Grandpa at the airport and headed home to Houston.  Thank you Mom and Dad for joining us on this much needed get-a-way!  We love you and look forward to your visit to Houston in May.

What a fun trip. I love the beautiful name that you have chosen for your new baby! It is a name that crossed my mind a few times when we were choosing a name for Olivia. So beautiful and timeless! Hang in there.

What a great fun trip! It looks like you all enjoyed yourselves. I can see Maren was really upset to say good-bye to her grandparents. Good thing it's not for long. Your family is sweet!!!

This looks like such a great get-away. I loved the sand and understand that is by the pool area. What a great idea.
I love the name Charlotte. And what a beautiful idea to have her share her middle name with Sarah. You do such a great job of choosing names with real meaning.
I came across the cutest photo of my Sunbeam class when Nathan was that age. Oh, they were all so cute!!
Only ten weeks? Wow! We need to talk!

Looks like you had a great time! Sweet little Maren just couldn't hide her disappointment at parting. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Maybe some day we can go back together again.

It was difficult to say good-bye after having such a lovely time with your family. We are counting the days until we come out for Charlotte's birth. Thank you for allowing us to share the holiday with you! The Hill Country Hyatt is truly a wonderful place for a family get-away and it is even better when you are with those you love!
