Maren and Nathan are still smiling after their first week of school. The highlight of Maren's week has been meeting new friends and enjoying a new teacher who is "Sooooo nice because she doesn't yell." The highlight for Nathan was taking a live frog to school. I found it in his backpack and tried to convince him to leave it at home. He reassured me that he would release the frog on the playground if the teacher did not allow it in the school. Apparently his teacher is okay with amphibians in the classroom. Nathan's little friend watched him work all day from a plastic container on his desk.
Caroline is loving all the attention from Mama. We've enjoyed countless tea parties, dressing up and dancing to music. I'm so grateful to have this toddler home with me!
Poor Rascal is down right depressed with the absence of his BFF (Nathan).

My children are also thrilled to have teachers that don't yell...I'm quite impressed with the live frog in the classroom!
I think every class should have a frog. How fun is that ! Poor Rascal, dogs are such social animals. I am sure he is so happy when the children get home from school. Cute pictures!
Brady is lonely without his siblings around but I am like you...I've enjoyed the one on one time with him. Maren and Nathan are growing up so fast! I see Maren is into the twinkle toes shoes too. Ashlyn can't live without hers!!
It's been quite the adjustment around here too. I have to admit that I cried before school started....but I am not sad about going back to early bed time!
I love Caroline's outfit, and Rascal does look sad. What a big week!
This post is so adorable. I love frogs, living in TN we have a creek run in front of our home, the kids & I would catch them at night. So fun! It's amazing as to what our children will do & put a smile on our faces.
Poor Rascal, maybe he needs a mate? I'm glad you have a wee one at home to spend your days with...you are such an Awesome Mama Christine and I love you dearly!
Caroline looks like such a big girl in that picture! What a darling, little playmate to have to stay home with you.
I'm glad to hear that the frog stowaway was welcomed at school. What a great teacher.
