These two adore each other.
Every night Rascal follows Nathan up to bed. While Nathan reads, the dog enjoys an evening nap covered in soft sheets and a warm blanket. I allow this only because our puppy is clean--two baths a week!
Nathan is learning how to care for a baby. We will soon have a well-trained babysitter in our family! After a tutorial on diaper changing, he chose to test his skills on Rascal instead of Caroline (who would not agree to it). I gave Nathan an A+. What a patient pup!

Rascal is such a person in a dog's body. Every boy (especially one surrounded by sisters) should have a dog. What cute buddies! I also love the celebrity look-alike picture. I think every girl had a crush on Karate Kid - watch out Nathan. You're turning into a very handsome catch!

Yes, two baths a week. Shih Tzu's love to be pampered. If Rascal is going to sit on my furniture and enjoy life indoors, she must be clean and smell powder fresh! :-)
The things we do to our dogs. I'll admit that I put one of my shirts on Raja, and rolled on the floor in laughter. Poor dogs!
I love the bed picture. Raja likes the bed as well, but he takes a little bit more room than that cute little Rascal does!
HA! That is too funny! I give Rascal an A+ for patience and letting Nathan actually put that diaper on him! I thought you were going to say rascal had to wear that diaper when he slept in his bed! ;) not a bad idea thoguh?!
It is easy to see the mutual affection these two share! Rascal will always be a loyal friend--and who wouldn't be with the TLC he gets!
