Today marks nine months since Sarah's passing. I am reminded of her example of strength, compassion and courage. Sarah accepted her circumstances without complaint . As the tumor continued to spread, she lost the use of the right side of her body. Suddenly everyday tasks became very tiring and difficult. Most importantly to Sarah, however, she had to figure out a new way to dance. Dancing to music was one of her favorite activities. She often said, "I dance like a ballerina." Using her stiff right leg as a pivot point and with her limp right hand held close to her body, she discovered that she could still twirl around with her left hand in the air. One year ago today, Brian captured her dancing on camera to one of her favorite lullabies.

Christine... that is the most precious thing I have ever seen! What a wonderful memory to have and cherish. I am sure she is dancing her way around heaven right now.
What a sweet memory of Sarah. I love her little happy squeels as she twirled. She really was a great example to us of enduring with a happy heart.
Hugs and Kisses from the Ross family. Thinking of you.

Sarah will be forever dancing in our hearts. What a sweet remembrance of our beautiful little ballerina!
What an angel. Thank you for sharing such sweet memories.
I have watched this clip over and over again. Seeing Sarah dance with the tender music in the background brings me back to the times we spent in the car in Houston with Sarah and baby Caroline in the back. What precious memories!
Oh that is too sweet! Aren't you so grateful for video cameras and that you were smart enough to capture moments like this one. She is a beautiful ballerina.
What a sweet remembrance Christine. Thank you for sharing it!
Heaven has her 'prima ballerina'!
What a beautiful memory. Thank you for sharing.
How tender. I also love how sweet she is with Caroline. She is such a happy, loving girl! I heard the song from her slideshow on the radio the other day -- that song will forever remind me of sweet Sarah.
