Our Cub Scout participated in his first Pinewood Derby. Nathan's original design of a U.S. Submarine won him the award, "Best Use of Imagination." The sub proved to have great speed as it raced down the track. Maren, Caroline and Christine cheered from the sidelines while Brian provided mechanical support (greasing of wheels) and watched with Nathan at the starting line. This morning Nathan discussed his vision for next year's car, one that will go even faster! Way to go Nathan!
We have felt happiness as dear friends have given love and support, little friends came together to play and enjoy Sarah's favorite cookies, flowers were planted, balloons were released into the sky with special notes for Sarah, and her graveside was decorated with love by sweet sisters, cousins and grandparents.
