Best Friend Friday

Sarah's dear friend, Ashley Sallaway, drove the distance from their new home in Dallas to Houston for a play date on Friday. What fun the girls had dressing up as princesses, playing in the back yard, making a trip to the mall for lunch and "Build a Bear"! Ashley and Sarah met during the summer of 2006. Since that time they have enjoyed two years of friendship. The girls reunited on Friday with big smiles and hugs, picking up just where they left off...laughing, playing, and snacking together as only toddlers could. It was such a wonderful day to see my little girl as a happy, playful child instead of a patient. She is now asking for more playdates this week and that is just what Dr. Mom has ordered!

How precious! My how much those two girls have grown up since we moved!! I guess it has been awhile since those days of keeping babies busy at the back of the chapel during R.S.

Oh, Sarah. I love your new bear! After a week of hearing about Ashley, it's nice to put a darling face with the name. Ashley is so blessed to have a friend like Sarah. She looks so happy in the picture. Tell her Aunt Carrie loves her.

Christine, I just watched your slide show of your sweet Sarah. Words can't describe the emotions I am feeling right now. She is an angel sent to this world to lift our spirits and remind us of the wonderful plan we all get to take part in. I am so glad to find your's and Carrie's blogs. Hopefully we can keep in better touch. Take care, Andrea Dailey

What sweet little girls! It makes me miss my sisters and how we would play dress up as little girls. These moments are priceless!

Sarah, I love your choice of bear. The first time I went in Build-A-Bear I knew I was born too soon. You are a girl after my own heart. You looked especially beautiful in your princess dress-up. All of us girls need good friends - your grandma is one of my best friends here in Provo. We hope you have a fun Halloween!

I just looked at your blog for the first time. Why is it that when it rains it pours, literally. Your strength inspires me. Your daughter inspires me. What a beautiful child. If she is anything like her parents she must also have a beautiful personality and spirit.
Congratulations for making it through this past couple of months. Keep your heads up. You are all in our prayers and our thoughts.
