Stewart Beach, Galveston

We were feeling a little spontaneous this Saturday so we packed up the car with a picnic lunch and beach gear and drove to Galveston's Stewart Beach.  The sunshine, water and sand made for a fun beginning to Memorial Day weekend.

Charlotte Sarah is ONE!

Happy first birthday to our beautiful, happy baby!  You have brought us buckets of sunshine and happiness.  Today we celebrate you, our little sweet one!

A special gift for Charlotte

My dear, very generous and talented friend, Nancy, created this custom-design, hand-sewn quilt in honor of Sarah.  Nancy made it especially for baby Charlotte.  Imagine my surprise and feelings as I received it in the mail, wrapped in a beautiful package with a sweet note.  Oh, the many hours spent creating and sewing this priceless heirloom.  What a treasure!  I love the butterflies, so charming and colorful.  Charlotte will remember and think of her angel sister as the quilt brings warmth and comfort.

Easter Sunday

It was a peaceful, happy Easter Sunday.  A beautiful day to remember our Savior's love for us, and the many blessings and promises which come from His infinite atonement.
