A little "Hello" from Heaven

While taking Charlotte for a walk this afternoon, a monarch gracefully fluttered by.  She perched on a lantana bush long enough for me to admire her beauty and capture a few images.  I am grateful for this brief encounter, a moment to remember my Sarah.

Big day for our Boy Scout

Nathan is SO excited for his first overnight campout.    

Brian made sure he was well equipped with all the necessities including a cool backpack, a pocket knife and a new pair of hiking boots.

These cute eleven year olds are in for a great outdoor adventure!  As a mother, it was a milestone moment for me--seeing my growing boy all geared up and ready to go.
